Organic Cinnamon and Star Anise Cooperative

Pham Van Tien is a a farmer and is the Deputy Director of the Organic Cinnamon and Star Anise Cooperative in Dao Thinh commune, Tran Yen district in Vietnam. The cooperative has 23 members contributing capital and 600 associate members who are local farmers, including 6 female members and 17 male members. Currently, the cooperative manufactures all kinds of products from cinnamon trees such as: split cinnamon, cigarette cinnamon, cinnamon pipe cinnamon, cinnamon essential oil, cinnamon powder, and has been exporting to markets such as: USA, Korea, Japan, UK. He started the cooperative as there needs to be a pioneer so that members can see and take the lead.
