We have various vendors carrying community products in the Marketplace section of the website. We hope that this will provide greater exposure to community-produced NTFP products, as well as to other local, unique, artisanal products from rural and forest communities in Asia. The CBNE Forum Marketplace features marketing partners of community producers that already have a presence online. It showcases some photos of products on the page, while the rest of the products and other information can be found on their various e-commerce links.

  1. After participants are finished with the registration process and they have signed up for their sessions in the Schedule section, they should go to the Marketplace section to see what product they would like to redeem. The Marketplace will show several vendors with a “check product” button which will show the various products being offered. Clicking “contact vendor” will lead to the various e-commerce sites that include WhatsApp numbers and Facebook pages where vendors may be directly contacted for questions.
  2. A registered participant can redeem the voucher by going to the Member Area of the website. The participant should choose which vendor he/she would like to redeem his/her voucher with.
  3. Once the participant has chosen the vendor, a notification will be sent to the forum secretariat and we will then send a notification to both the vendor and the participant to continue discussing the details of the transaction via email.
  4. After product and mode of delivery have been decided between participant and vendor via email, the product will be sent to the participant.
  5. The participant should then send proof of receipt of product by courier notification so that the FH CBNE Forum secretariat can initiate transfer of funds to the vendor. Send proof of receipt of product to cbneforum2021@ntfp.org

Paying for a ticket and redeeming a voucher for one community product is only one way to help stimulate the economy of community-based producers. We encourage you to visit the e-commerce sites of the vendors and learn more about their products, the producers and the unique people and processes behind them.
