Ma Thi Ninh is a woman leader and entrepreneur. Her passion for agriculture and the realization that many types of local trees and seeds can be preserved and developed into production areas, contributing to raising people's incomes, led her to campaign for the development of a cooperative. She founded and currently manages the the Yen Duong Agriculture and Forestry Cooperative as Director for the past six years. The cooperative is composed of 45 member households with 36 female members and produces green squash, organic sticky rice, bamboo.
