Dr Sabastian has 24 years of experience in Indonesia. His work integrates tree germplasm, sustainable agroforestry and forestry management, landscape restoration, and resilient rural livelihood systems including socially-equitable and smallholder value chain development to enhance smallholders’ production systems and livelihood and achieve sustainable environmental objectives in a range of research for development projects of ICRAF Southeast Asia program in Indonesia. He led the implementation of several projects that targeted enhances management/production of agroforestry and forestry in multifunctional landscapes.
