Dr. Phan Van Thang is Director of Non Timber Forest Products Research Centre of Vietnam (NTFPRC), a national research institution focusing on Non Timber Forest Products (NTFP) conservation and sustainable development issues. He has been working as senior researcher at NTFPRC from 1996 to now. Dr. Phan Van Thang received his Ph.D. in NTFP Silviculture from Vietnamese Academy of Forest Sciences and M.A. in NTFP Silviculture from Vietnam National University of Forestry, Hanoi, Vietnam.
