Panen Raya Nusantara (PARARA) is a fair trade marketing platform and movement that seeks to improve the welfare of Indonesian community producers by promoting products based on conservation, culture, and local traditions. It is composed of over 30 civil society organizations supporting over 100 community producer groups in promoting products that are local, healthy, fair and sustainable. From a festival in 2015, it has developed a business unit to more regularly support the marketing of products from partner communities. Its business unit, the PARARA Indonesian Ethical Store, features food, craft, textiles and personal care products. Long term goals are to influence sustainable production and consumption in the country and reduce dependence on imported goods.
