Emmanuelle/Nola's work on non-timber forest products (NTFP), community livelihoods and enterprise development in Southeast Asia spans 20 years, encompassing capacity building, marketing, policy research, strategy and project development. She conceptualized various key projects of NTFP-EP including MODI Modern Indigenous, partnership between urban-based artists and indigenous artisans; Heritage and Forest Harvest Collective Mark, community-product labeling and co-established marketing arms of the organization including the CustomMade Crafts Center (Philippines) and NatureWild (Cambodia). Her formation is in Comparative Local Development, Cultural Management, Enterprise Planning and Languages. Current interests include culture and technology in sustainable development, biocultural diversity, traditional crafts and inclusive creative industries.
